QUALITY OF WORK
"In seven years as an AFCEE (Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence) field engineer, I have monitored and worked with seven remediation contractors from the big name nationwide firms to the smaller local firms. EQ has provided the best response to our remedial requirements because of their outstanding technical expertise, their superb program and field management, conscientious attention to cost control, and the excellent working relationships they develop with their client! This contractor is NUMBER ONE, in terms of their demonstrated performance."

EQ was by far the best contractor we had on site during this challenging and highly sensitive landfill remediation and redevelopment project. Also, you have simply been the best environmental contractor we have ever worked with. Your staff's responsiveness, attention to detail, and personalized service enabled us to complete the work on schedule and receive the critical No Further Remediation Letter from IEPA, which enabled us to proceed with the remaining overall site development work. All the partners, our banks, and our customers are greatly appreciative of your exceptional work.

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQ) was named Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) sustaining member of the month in the Baltimore Post News April 1999 edition. The award was based on EQ's performance ratings of over 99 percent for corrective action work at the Letterkenny Depot. EQ treated groundwater, abated asbestos and LBP, performed large-scale excavation, capped landfills, and decontaminated and decommissioned structures at the depot. AK Steel and EQM have participated in good working relations since before I became involved in Environmental Affairs in 1992. EQM continues to perform Coke Oven NESHAPS testing at both our Ashland and Middletown facilities and also perform Method 9 and other visual monitoring here at Rockport. These efforts are performed with minimal oversight and with exemplary reporting on their part. They have performed with expectations that a world class organization has come to expect. I heartily recommend them for consideration in all environmental consulting inquiries.

Mr. Jeff Slayback has been our primary contact and project manager on numerous projects over the past 10 years. Projects performed have included preparing the Part 70 permit application for our Evansville site and a FESOP application for Mt. EQ's work has always met or exceeded my expectations. I am glad to recommend them as an excellent consulting firm with extensive knowledge of environmental regulations.
