Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQ) is a full-service environmental consulting and engineering firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Pittsburgh office has considerable experience serving both the industrial sector and the government sector.

EQ's staff in Pittsburgh is focused on the steel industry but is comprised of many disciplines and areas of expertise including air quality services (permitting, modeling, and emission inventories), cement industry (air pollution control, process operations, permitting), and other environmental management areas. The Pittsburgh staff services our clients needs nationally and globally worldwide, with a regional focus in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

Community involvement

The Pittsburgh office is actively involved in the community both professionally and socially. The office is a member of the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, and the local chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association.

From Downtown Pittsburgh:

Take Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) North through Emsworth and Ambridge. In Rochester, take exit ramp to Beaver/Chippewa and Bridgewater across Beaver River Bridge.  Take second ramp off bridge to Bridgewater Business District (short sharp off ramp).  Go through stop sign and turn left at the traffic light onto Market Street. EQ is located in the second building on the right.

From Pittsburgh International Airport:

Take Route 60 North toward Beaver Valley.  Get off at Beaver Exit, at Vanport and follow Route 68 East through Beaver, PA.  As you leave Beaver, just before bridge, take last exit ramp to Bridgewater Business District.  Follow ramp around to traffic light.  Go through stop sign and turn left at the traffic light onto Market Street. EQ is located in the second building on the right.

Alternate route from Airport and 60 North (less traffic): 

Go past Beaver Exit (above) toward Chippewa and Rt 60 toll road.  Take last exit before Rt 60 toll road onto Route 51 South.  Follow Rt 51 South through intersection near Brady’s Run Park to third traffic light.  At third traffic light (from Rt 60) make left from turning lane (at UNION Building and Loan) onto Leopard Street through stop sign to Market Street.  Take Market Street past Dockers Restaurant to traffic light in Bridgewater Business District.  Go through stop sign and turn left at the traffic light onto Market Street. EQ is located in the second building on the right.

From Southern Ohio and West Virginia:

Take I-79 North to Route 65 North (Ohio River Boulevard) toward Sewickley, Ambridge, and Rochester.  In Rochester, take exit ramp to Beaver/Chippewa and Bridgewater across Beaver River Bridge.  Take second ramp off bridge to Bridgewater Business District (short sharp off ramp).  Go through stop sign and turn left at the traffic light onto Market Street. EQ is located in the second building on the right.

Alternative Route from OH/WV: 

Take US 22/30 East to Route 18 North at Burgettstown, PA.  Follow 18 North to Monaca (and Beaver Valley Mall) to Broadhead Road traffic light.  Make left at Broadhead Road and go through several traffic lights into downtown Monaca.  Make first left at first traffic light in downtown Monaca toward Rochester-Monaca bridge.  On other side of Bridge, go through light and make first left and a quick right at stop sign.  At next intersection (near K-Mart) make left onto Rochester-Beaver bridge.  Take second ramp off bridge to Bridgewater Business District (short sharp off ramp). Go through stop sign and turn left at the traffic light onto Market Street. EQ is located in the second building on the right.

From  North/Central Ohio:

Take I-80 East to PA Turnpike I-76 East to Route 60 toll road South toward Pittsburgh International Airport.  Follow Rt 51 South through intersection near Brady’s Run Park to third traffic light.  At third traffic light (from Rt 60) make left from turning lane (at UNION Building and Loan) onto Leopard Street through stop sign to Market Street.  Take Market Street past Dockers Restaurant to traffic light in Bridgewater Business District.  Go through stop sign and turn left at the traffic light onto Market Street. EPA Proposes Substantial Increase in Data Chemical Manufacturers Are Required to Report
The USEPA published a proposed Inventory Update Reporting rule Aug. 13 under the Toxic Substances Control Act that would substantially increase the amount of information chemical manufacturers would have to provide about chemicals they make.

On  Aug. 12, 2010, USEPA announced the proposal of regulations to implement the GHG permitting requirements set forth in EPA’s GHG tailoring rule published on June 13, 2010 in States that do not have authority to implement the GHG permitting requirements.

On Aug. 20, 2010, the USEPA published final rules that revised the NESHAP (aka MACT) regulations at 40 CFR part 63, subpart ZZZZ.
