Ecological & Cultural Staff
Our staff interacts on our clients behalf with both federal and state agencies responsible for the identification and protection of our natural resources. Those agencies include the US fish and Wildlife Service, US EPA, USDA Forest Service, USDA Natural Resource conservation Service, and State Departments of Natural Resources. EQ's ecological services include delineations and assessments of all jurisdictional waters of the US including wetlands, threatened and endangered species investigations, habitat and natural community quality and functional assessments, plant and animal surveys, ecological risk assessments, land use planning and natural landscape restoration.
EQ's professional team has conducted ecological assessments on a variety of public and private lands. These lands include airports, highways, military installations, national parks and historic sites, state wildlife management areas and state natural areas and preserves. We have also provided services for a variety of clients in the steel, electric petroleum, natural gas, fiber optics and transportation industries throughout the US. As a result EQ can produce and submit reports to EPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Highway Administration, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and States Departments of Transportation, among others.
